We are highly skilled in providing rapid assessment and stabilisation of critical patients. When your pet needs emergency care, we’ll be there.
Our critical care team specialise in managing care for our critical medical or surgical patients, beyond the underlying problem. We provide essential care for a wide spectrum of illnesses, injuries and toxicities ranging from severe trauma to uncontrolled diabetes, from kidney failure to poisonings.

Our internal medicine team are board certified specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of complex medical conditions in pets. Our diagnostic imaging services provide state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities for pets with a wide range of medical conditions. Our experienced team of board-certified radiologists and technologists uses the latest technology to provide accurate and timely diagnosis for our patients.
We offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. These advanced imaging techniques allow us to visualise and diagnose complex medical conditions in pets, often without the need for invasive procedures.
We also provide image-guided aspirates and biopsies. These minimally invasive procedures can be used to obtain samples of tissues or fluids for diagnosis and are often performed using ultrasound or CT guidance. This allows us to obtain samples from deep-seated or difficult-to-reach areas of the body with minimal discomfort for your pet.
Our team works closely with our other specialists to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care. We understand the importance of timely and accurate diagnoses, and strive to provide the highest level of care and support for our patients and their families.
Treatment with hydrotherapy uses water to improve healing, function, stability and strength for dogs. Our therapist will use the properties of water, within a controlled environment, to provide customised treatment for your dog’s rehabilitation and wellbeing.
At ARC we use a hydro physio underwater treadmill for dynamic and static aquatic therapy. The water is heated to between 28-32˚C. This provides thermal therapeutic benefits that help your dog relax, easing muscle tension, reducing joint inflammation and increasing blood and oxygen flow.
ARC offers the highest level of care for your pet. Our facilities are staffed with veterinary specialists in multiple disciplines who have undergone extensive training beyond that of the basic veterinary degree. This enables them to provide advanced veterinary care in their respective disciplines, complementing the services provided by your local vet.

At ARC, we understand that some animals may have complex medical issues that require input from more than one clinician. If this is the case with your pet, our specialists will collaborate to create the most appropriate treatment plan.
To schedule an appointment with a specialist for your pet, you will need a referral from your regular veterinary clinic. However, emergency after-hours care is available without a referral.
