We also provide image-guided aspirates and biopsies. Treatment with hydrotherapy uses water to improve healing, function, stability and strength for dogs. Our therapist will use the properties of water, within a controlled environment, to provide customised treatment for your dog’s rehabilitation and wellbeing.

At ARC we use a hydro physio underwater treadmill for dynamic and static aquatic therapy. The water is heated to between 28-32˚C. This provides thermal therapeutic benefits that help your dog relax, easing muscle tension, reducing joint inflammation and increasing blood and oxygen flow.

For referral/specialist appointments:

Your initial appointment will involve a comprehensive consultation to help us fully evaluate your pet, plan any further diagnostic testing and provide recommendations for treatment and expected outcomes.

We schedule long consultations, to ensure you have plenty of time to ask questions. Before proceeding with any further action, we provide you with an estimate of costs for any recommended diagnostics or treatment.

What about breakfast?

On the day of an appointment, please avoid giving your pet breakfast if possible. If they are under 3 months of age or have diabetes, please call ARC or your referring veterinarian for instructions. Water should always be available.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, EFTPOS, bank transfer via A2A, most major credit cards (a credit card surcharge of 1.5% applies) and Paywave. Payment is due at the time of consultation. For hospitalised patients, we request a 50% deposit at admission and payment of the balance at discharge. Payment plans are available through Petfunders (pre-approval required).
